This is a colorful hardcover in a handy compact size perfect for littlehands! It covers the life of Jesus from when Gabriel tells Mary she is going to have a baby to Jesus ascending into Heaven. It tells about what Jesus did and also parables he told.
One thing I thought was cool and unique was the map of where
Jesus lived. It showed some of the towns, such as Jerusalem and
Nazareth. I also liked that the Scripture passage was listed under each story so you can find it in the Bible. The colors were bright and the faces expressive.
One thing I thought was misleading was the story about Jesus asking to borrow a donkey to ride into Jerusalem. In the Bible, He tells the disciples to go into town and find the donkey. This book makes it sound like He asked to borrow it. It seems like a small thing, but the Bible shouldn't be rewritten!
I liked this storybook, except for the misleading sentence. Because of that, though, I probably wouldn't recommend it.
